Immersive stand-wide audio installations across one of the UK's largest exhibition venues, plus strategic AV consultancy to help the client command the space around them.
The January Furniture Show at the NEC is one of the most competitive trade environments in the UK. Hundreds of exhibitors fighting for the attention of buyers, retailers and press. Standing out is not optional. It is the entire point of being there.
Our client had the ambition, the budget and an exceptionally skilled carpentry team who could build a genuinely impressive physical stand. What they were missing was the technical expertise to turn that structure into an experience. AV, audio and rigging above a certain height require specialist knowledge and formal certification. Without that, the stand would look the part but feel flat.
They also needed someone who understood the NEC's strict build schedules, sign-off procedures and timeline requirements. A last-minute scramble on-site was not an option.

From the very first conversation it was clear this client needed more than someone to drop off equipment. They needed a sounding board. A technical voice in the room who could flag what they had not thought about yet and help them make confident decisions without getting lost in the jargon.
We joined calls with their carpentry team directly. Not to manage them, but to make sure everyone was working from the same picture. How the walls and ceiling structure would interact with speaker placement, where cable runs needed to be designed in from the start and how the rigging points needed to align with what their team was building. Catching those details in a call costs nothing. Finding them on the build floor at the NEC costs a day you do not have.
We presented clear options with honest budgets attached to each one, so the client could make decisions based on what actually mattered to them rather than a guess.
From the first planning call through to equipment collection after the show closed, we handled every technical aspect of the stand so the client could focus entirely on the buyers and retailers walking through their space.

The stand opened on time and performed without a single technical issue across the full run of the show. The audio environment set the stand apart from the moment buyers walked into the hall. Rather than being another booth in a crowded venue, it became a destination.
The client's team spent the show doing exactly what they came to the NEC to do: meeting buyers, having conversations and building relationships. Not chasing technical problems or waiting for a supplier who did not show up.
The post-event health check identified a clear set of improvements and ideas for the following year, so the next show can build on this one rather than start from scratch.
"Having Jack involved from the planning stage changed everything. We did not have to worry about the technical side at all. The stand sounded incredible and our team could just focus on the customers walking through. That is exactly what we needed."
